Last updated: 1 September 2026

Fuse Grips Group Ltd (trading as "Fuse Grips", "we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit fusegrips.com or purchase our products, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it. It is written to comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

1. Who we are

Fuse Grips Group Ltd is the data controller responsible for your personal data. Registered in England and Wales, company number 17242552, registered office at 68 Fuse House, Huddersfield, HD3 3WJ. For any privacy queries, contact us at hello@fusegrips.com.

2. Information we collect

We collect information you give us directly, information collected automatically when you use our site, and information from third parties who help us run our store.

  • Order and account information: name, delivery and billing address, email address, phone number, and order history.
  • Payment information: processed by our payment provider (see Section 4) — we do not store full card numbers on our own systems.
  • Technical and usage information: IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, and how you interact with the site, collected via cookies and similar technologies (see our Cookie Policy).
  • Marketing preferences: whether you've opted in to receive emails from us, and your engagement with those emails.
  • Correspondence: messages you send us via email, contact forms, or social media, including Instagram (@fusegrips).

3. How we use your information

We use your personal data to:

  • Process and fulfil your orders, including delivery and customer service.
  • Communicate with you about your order, account, or enquiries.
  • Send marketing communications where you have opted in, which you can withdraw consent for at any time.
  • Improve our website, products, and customer experience through analytics.
  • Detect and prevent fraud, and comply with our legal obligations.
  • Operate features such as our pay-it-forward card system, where a card's journey may be shown in aggregate or anonymised form (see Section 9).

4. Legal basis for processing

We rely on the following legal bases under UK GDPR:

  • Contract: to process and deliver your order.
  • Consent: for marketing emails and non-essential cookies, which you can withdraw at any time.
  • Legitimate interests: for fraud prevention, site security, and improving our services, balanced against your rights.
  • Legal obligation: for tax, accounting, and consumer protection record-keeping.

5. Sharing your information

We share personal data only where necessary, with:

  • Shopify, our e-commerce platform provider, which hosts our store and processes orders on our behalf.
  • Payment processors, to securely handle transactions.
  • Delivery carriers, to fulfil and track your order.
  • Google Analytics, to understand site usage in aggregate (see Cookie Policy).
  • Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel, for advertising measurement and audience building, where you have consented to marketing cookies.
  • Professional advisers and authorities, where required by law.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

6. International transfers

Some of our service providers (including Shopify, Google, and Meta) may process data outside the UK. Where this happens, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the UK's International Data Transfer Addendum or adequacy regulations.

7. Data retention

We retain order and account data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described above, and as required by UK tax and accounting law (typically six years from the end of the relevant financial year). Marketing data is retained until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.

8. Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Request deletion of your data, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Restrict or object to certain processing.
  • Request a portable copy of your data.
  • Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@fusegrips.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

9. The pay-it-forward card system

Where a card's custody chain or geographic trail is displayed on a landing page, this is limited to the information needed to show the chain (such as approximate location and sequence), and does not display full names or contact details of participants without their consent.

10. Children's privacy

Our products and site are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The 'last updated' date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
